Virtual Environments - I've developed the software for
the ANU's Wedge
immersive environment. Go to the pSpace home for more
information. My latest projects have been the the CSIRO
Discovery Centre VR Theatre and the National Museum of
Australia's "kSpace" exhibit, documented on the Vizlab VE pages.
Scientific visualization -
here are some images I've
made (mostly) with homegrown
s/w.... See the ANUSF
Visualization Lab's page for more visualizations done at
ANUSF.
CGI -
I've done a bit of freelancing as a 3D Animator. Anyone seen the
ice snake coming out of the freezer on the Foxtel music
channel ?
Research into photo-realistic rendering of clouds and atmospheric effects.
Parallel algorithms for the above.
3D Reconstruction - most recently, I've become interested in
image processing and analysis in the biological sciences, particularly
3D reconstruction from EM serial section and tilt
series. Hopefully I'll have some nice results to show here some day
soon... (update - look here!)

Bookmarks - too many place I've visited. This web
site was one of the first couple of hundred sites in the world,
so I've had a while to collect them! Back then Marc Andreeson
would e-mail you if you put up a snazzy new page and ask if he
could make a local copy, for what I guess was advertising
purposes (early Mosiac's were instrumented to send URL's back to
NCSA).
Recreational activities - things to stretch out the muscles
after too many hours in front of a screen.
Quotes
-a collection of quotes and links to others.
