The ANUSF Annual Report for 1999 - 2001 has now been published and can be found here.

As a result of the impending APAC National Facility, the ANUSF did not produce an individual annual report for the year 1999. However, the usage statistics which usually appear in the annual report are available below for 1999.

Usage of the facilities by internal ANU projects

There were 54 ANU projects on the VPP, involving 38 different principal investigators, 129 connected users, and a total of 142 collaborators.

There were 60 ANU projects on the SGI Power Challenge, with 40 different principal investigators, 129 connected users and 143 collaborators.

36 of the projects were common to both machines.

The total number of connected users across both machines was 160, and the total number of collaborators was 179.


Usage of the facilities by other University projects

Projects from 18 different universities were supported in 1999.

There were 37 external projects on the VPP, involving 37 different principal investigators, 89 connected users, and a total of 108 collaborators.

There were 12 external projects on the SGI Power Challenge, with 12 different principal investigators, 25 connected users and 34 collaborators.

4 of the projects were common to both machines.

The total number of connected users across both machines was 104, and the total number of collaborators was 126.
