Visitors to the Supercomputer Facility

As well as the large number of visitors at the time of the Fujitsu International Supercomputer Users Group meeting in September, there was a visit by Fujitsu Japan for a regular management meeting for the joint projects between ANU and Fujitsu in February.

Visitors included:

There were a number of visitors from interstate, international speakers and attendees at the conferences and workshops described elsewhere in this report as well as visits from external users of the VP and from industrial representatives.

In addition, a delegation from the Fujitsu LS-KEN association of Japan visited on 1 November led by Mr K Miyahara of Mitsui Toatsu Chemicals. A number of other groups made tours of the Facility, including students from the Department of Mathematics, Monash University.
