This PTF adds new support for the account id, and auditing functions under XDM. Note that the account id function will be supported by UXP/V V10L10 X96031 or later, and the auditing system will be support by UXP/V V10L20 only.Support of the account id function
In XDM, the account processing by account id will be supported. If a user who has two or more account id's logs in through XDM, they can enter the account id to be used for the xdm authentication screen. For deatils on the account id fucntion, refer to "Type of Accounting" in the "UXP/V System Administrators Guide".Account id setup basis
Account id setup basis by XDM defapends on the ACCTID value of /var/default/login. The following table shows account id setup basis by XDM.A: An account id is required to be entered in the account id input field on the authentication screen. If only the enter key is pressed, the primary account id will be set.

B: GID (Group Id) of the user will be set as an account id. C: The primary account id will be set as an account id.See the hard copy release notes for details for configuring screen control and the audit sytem.
If a mkfontdir or a bdftopcf is executed on a BDF file, created by the fstobdf command, with a font with "OK" in it's attributes condition, and error message was displayed.
Insufficient area in /var/adm at the time of daemon startup, then a ps error message would appear for a stopped procedure.
The password command called from the passwd change subscreen is now executed with higher priviledges.

Characters would disapper from the XDM authentication screen under one of the following conditions:
- The password change mode invoked from the XDM authentication screen is on, AND
- Another window is opened in the password change subscreen of XDM authentication, AND
- The above window is moved out of the password change subscreen of XDM authentication screen.
A function has been added to enter an account id in the XDM authentication screen. This is applicable only to UXP/V V10L10 X96031 or UXP/V V10L20. The following conditions are required:
- ACCTID=PROMPT is an entry in /etc/default/login.
- the /etc/account file exists, and the user is belongs to more than one account id.
- the user belongs to more than one group in /etc/group.
Under UXP/V V10L20, the auditing feature is added to XDM
Official patches from the X Consortium have been applied to: bitmap, xhost, xfs, xdm, xcmsdb.
Files larger than 2GB were unable to be generated if login was via XDM, and the ULIMIT parameter in /etc/default/login was set to a value over 2G. The condition could also appear if ULIMIT parameter was set to a value over 2G and an Xterm was used.
