Project Accounting

You are prompted for a project to charge each session to as you login to the VPP300. A default project should be available for you to avoid typing. Batch job usage will also be charged to whatever project chosen at login, unless you otherwise specify a project on the nqsub command line, or within the script file.

Changing the Default Project

To change or set this default project, edit your .rashrc file in your home directory, and change the PROJECT variable as desired.

Checking your usage

Use the command

     quotasu -P 

to display your usage for the current quarter.

or

     quotasu -h -P 

to display some of the more recent history of your project.
